Hand Carved Wooden Sleeping Cat Carving Statue Paperweight Sculpture Asian 2.7"H This adorable carved wood cat figure will make a great addition to your collection. It features a small carved wood form of a curled up cat or kitten in a medium brown wood with black & white painted details similar to the coloring of a fox. I have seen similar pieces listed online as being produced by the Mandalay Box Company (Thailand) but since this cat isn't marked I can't guarantee the brand/maker. ITEM DETAILS: Approximate weight is 7 ozs Measures approximately 2.75" x 4" x 4" Condition: In what appears to be handmade pre-owned used condition with wear including dirt, dust, grime, scratches, dents, dings, abrasions, scuffing, stains, a dark spot on the rump in front of the face that appears to be a blotch of original wood stain, chipping on the ears and edges, cracking in the surface of the wood along the woodgrain, marker residue on the bottom, some dents on the surface of the wood, dulling, fading, discoloring, rough edges, chisel marks, unevenly carved & finish wood surface finish & details/forms/edges/shapes, and overall wear from age and handling.
